Presidio

Presidio is a low desert residence in Phoenix, organized around a series of planted courtyards that bring the landscape into the heart of the house. A restrained palette of pale masonry, warm wood, and continuous terrazzo carries through the interior, where full-height glazing opens each room to the desert and a round skylight draws daylight into the living space. Inside and out, the house is shaped for a quiet, sustained relationship with its setting.
